Target Structure: There is / There are (singular and plural)

Duration: 60 – 90 minutes

Teach students to use the expressions there is and there are to talk about the things they can find on their desks. First, they’ll practice using plural nouns while reviewing numbers to talk about quantity. Then you’ll introduce there is and there are and lead students through a listening activity. Finally, they will practice speaking with a partner, forming complete sentences using everything they’ve learned in this lesson.
